Faith
Faith is such a simple and short word, but to live a life of faith, that takes on a brand new meaning. What is Faith? Well it depends on where your faith is fastened. Is it steadfastly anchored in Jesus Christ and Lord of All Creation, or is it in yourself or some other mortal human? When Faith is rooted in Jesus, your faith is secure. He created the universe, you can depend on him to not let you down. BUT, (another little word with big consequences :) You can't let yourself or God down. You must not let others ideas make you stray from the road of Faith God has you set upon. Don't let the devil come and trip or make you doubt your Faith. God is in control...Keep you eyes on him and don't stop walking. If you fall, pick yourself up and with God's strength, say "I can do all things with him who strengthens me!"
You've got what is takes! Walk on Faith!!!

Spare of the moment
I acutally like things to come about in record time...life is more interseting. :) Take Friday for instance....Mom walked in at 6:30 pm and asked we girls if we would like to go to her parents house. Of course we said yes and then packed up for a 2 night stay with Mimi and PawPaw Griffin. We arrived in Borden County and 12:42 am and had fun being with family.
There are people that like to plan way out in advance...but am not one of them. Mostly because plans can change, so just go with the moment, enjoy the moment and keep your trust in the Lord. So the next time plans change out of the blue....Smile, Laugh, and ENJOY!!! Who knows what can happen tomorrow... its a mystery to discover on the dawn of each new day. :)

Mini Term
I just feel like I am always running here and there doing who knows what. ;) But I should just be thankful that I have some many things to keep me busy. Today is the 2nd day of mini term. I have had fun so far. It is going to be fast and furious and fun!
It was so much fun to look at my grades today.... I have a 4.0 GPA, having straight A's was so much fun, hopefully I can do that next semester Lord willing! :)
I am headed to curves, but wanted to do a post.
May the Lord Bless you!

A+'s how I love them!
I just love it when you get a letter A+ on your final test of the semester! Today I got 2!!!! Yippee!!! This morning I got a 98 in my Equine Science class, and just a few minutes ago I got a 101 on my history class. I had to write 6 essays with the option of a 7th. So of course me, I did 7. :) Today is my last day of class, but Monday I start a mini term that lasts for 2 weeks and is a full semester credit. It will be fun as it is history after 1865 to present. A period of history I have not studied extensively, but know I will enjoy. ;)

Sawka Family Visit!!
The Highlight of our week was having the sweet Sawka Family at our house for 2 days!!!
Ken, Sue, Sarah, Elisabeth & Isaac are missionaries in Lusaka, Zambia Africa. It was so much fun having them at our house! Blessed us so much!!! The night before their departure, Sarah, Sue, my 3 brothers and myself all had a laughing party in the living room. :) My brothers were telling jokes and making us all crack up. Myles is such a jokester, loves make everyone laugh. Griffin with his dry since of humor and RA was busy trying on things to see what outfit would make us laugh the most. A Rapper was his biggest hit! :) His 2nd was a old time pilot with goggles. Laughter is the best medicine! Especially when it is with dear friends!
The Sawka's are bible translators and work with different language groups to translate the bible into their language. They have an amazing work for Jesus! We were able to see 1 of only 2 bibles that has been translated into the language of one Congo tribe. 10,000 are on their way to Congo and will distrubited soon. Is a sobering thought that some christians do not have a bible in their own langauge. Makes us cherish ours a little more. Their life is, is a life without a roadmap...driving somwhere without knowing how to get there. WE must use our Roadmap of the Christian Life to the fullest, reading the bible every day! And then fallowing God's good directions!
A much needed update!
Hello Y'all,
It has been months since my last update...hate that, but life has been very hectic for me the last few months. Not an excuse, but is for me. :) School has been going well, Finals are next week...I really hope that I do well!!! I should, but should and doing are 2 very different things. :)
Sat. is the horse sale in Dalhart. Yesterday I was getting the 5 yearlings ready...and they would much rather be wild, than gentle. But a few more times of handling them, should help considerably in that department. :) Hopefully I will not have any more war wounds tonight like I did from last night. My shine is still killing me from when the grey filly got me into the fence. I am a big Winnie....and proud of it. :)
I really hope the horses sell well, would be so nice. :)
I have tests Tuesday, plus an accuplacer. I will do the writing and math sections....I hope that I do well on everything.
Last week I announced a entire rodeo at a Jr. Rodeo here in Borger. I enjoyed it, and I was very thankful I did not mess up very much, and make to many bloopers. :) I think I will get more practice sometime soon. Don't know if I actually want that or not.
Gotta go to class...
